This is how (just one of the ways) we insulate the black community against Trayvon, Eric Garner, Mike Brown type situations. If we teach OURSELVES and our families financial literacy, foreign language and Unity we become cultural powerhouses and a collective force to be reckoned with. One which exterior forces/threats will think twice about when and how they encounter or approach. This is how we gain RESPECT. By respecting ourselves. Going into and throughout the New Year Id like to see the majority black & brown population that lives un or undereducated and below the poverty line become the minority/subculture within our culture if not eradicated altogether. #justathought
