This is how life happens, and should always happen. I had a lot - TopicsExpress

This is how life happens, and should always happen. I had a lot to do, but it was important I get some food. So I went to the mall to shop for said food and similar obligatory items, when, across the road I spied a sign that said Junk Bar Market. Naturally my op-shopping inner granny cried out to be heard, and so I went to take a look. As I was checking out a fantastic pair of rad shoes with a Cuban heel, the gentleman out the front said, you should have a look inside. For those of you who know me, occasionally Im cautious and tend to avoid....well....everything.... So I took a look from the front door, it seemed nice so I came back, and with unusual vigour he said man - its a really cool bar. You should just take a proper look. So anyway, I went and walked in a little further - and the lovely Skye Carmen Staniford was at the bar and I didnt recognise her from the doorway (it was dark from my vantage point). But she looked up and instantly recognised me, saying James! Come in come in! How are you? The rest is rather recent history. I spent the best part of two hours chatting to her and meeting the wonderful Angela and Mia. Also - best cocktails ever! Im glad I took the door gentlemans advice and went in. A fabulous time! This type of synchronous stuff doesnt usually happen to me - generally reserved for my wonderful and more in-tune counterparts. At any rate The Junk Bar has SUCH good atmosphere - and fantastic cocktails - plus, I did end up walking away with that excellent pair of shoes, sporting the most wonderful Cuban heel! A great end to a wonderful day - despite still having more on my to-do list.
