This is how my morning went. Left late for work, about 1/2 block away from the train tracks, lights start flashing the guard goes down. I would have drove a lot over the speed limit, but a cop is behind me, I just missed a green light to get on K-7, I make the rest of the lights through town (YAY!) I get behind a slow car driving in the thru lane, 60 in a 65. Finally they get over (Ahem! LOL!) I wont say how that happened. I get to work with 2 minutes to spare, run across the parking lot, into the building, hit the clock at 8 AM. Then i had forgot my phone in my purse, so back to my car I had to go. Got the phone walked back to building started up the stairs, the toe of my shoe caught the edge of one of the steps. Down i went. I sat there for a minute because it hurt like hell. OK good nothing broke, 2 skinned knees and a skinned elbow. My boss tells me It was your fault, so you cant sue, since your a first responder go clean up your injuries and put on band aids Man am I going to have some good bruises tomorrow :( How was your Day???
