This is hysterical. I was never a server but I was a bartender for 2 years at a very popular high end restaurant in NYC--still have a thousand wine openers in my drawer, pens for days, can carry 6 wine glasses in one hand, make the best Cosmo youll ever have, and can open a bottle of champagne without making a sound :-) The tip thing is also true, once youve been in a service job like that, you always tip 20% or above for life, because your remember what it was like when people didnt tip you properly after working so hard.
