This is hysterical (and so true). In this generation of ‘fierce exercise yoga’ (WERK!!!), it’s refreshing to hear that newcomers may actually desire dharma, meditation, and grounded energy as opposed to Lululemon/Louis Vuitton-clad classes with Christina Aguilera playing in the background. Different strokes, for sure, but the last thing most Americans need is more crack in their life (especially in a yoga class). If you have difficulty sitting in silence, then there’s a problem folks (oh, and on a similar note…try watching a foreign film…yes, like with subtitles that you like, have to READ…). huffingtonpost/michele-redmon/yoga-benefits_b_4075053.html
