This is incredibly disturbing on so many levels! I have lived in places where water is rationed - because it is a scarce and valued resource. I am constantly horrified by the ways in which water is used and abused here. I recently was in San Francisco where there is a water shortage and was totally appalled at how it was being wasted. Example - a high end (by my standards) conference hotel where a hot water tap in a washroom ran constantly for days. It took 3 days of reporting it for it to even be checked!!! But privatizing water, and denying it to citizens is outrageous!!!!
