This is information about the break in yesterday morning!! This morning my house was broken into and had a lot of valuables stolen. I work from home and am home most all of the time. I have a fairly routine schedule through the week and pretty sure I was cased. On Mondays I have a meeting in Athens and am gone from my house for about 4 or 5 hours in the morning. From about 8:30am - 1pm at the latest. Today Monday, March 31st I came home at 12:45pm and my kitchen window was broken in and my house was thoroughly gone through and everything worth value was taken for the most part. I believe they had a good idea I am gone for about 4 hours every Monday. Looks like they had tested a couple windows in my downstairs to see if there was an alarm first. I have about 4 windows with small cracks like a small glass hammer was tapped on them. They came through mid morning and I believe they just took things right out the back yard over my fence onto Jim Moore where they parked. Not positive on that, bu t that is my theory at this point. Computers, guitars, musical equipment, and even drug a safe out of the house over the fence. Mainly just want to make everyone aware in case, as I heard a few months ago there were some break ins and seems to be still going on. Please keep your eyes out for yourselves and your neighbors. I did call the police and file a report so they are aware. Spread the word so people are aware. I live in Highpoint and in a culdasac.
