This is interesting: When I developed and filmed SIGNALS 1, I had a female President as a plot line character, played by outstanding actress, Kathryn Cocroft. A few months later, comes one of my favorite shows, 24, and introduces a female president as well. Fast forward to NOW. I just watch 7 stills of a movie coming up called White House Down where the White House is taken by a paramilitary group.....interesting. We shot a crucial scene in the SIGNALS Tetralogy called The Taking of the White House, by also a well trained group of terrorists. Go back to the early 90s, I produced a commercial for an Insurance Company where a dog steals the car from his owner and drives away (No digital effects back then, just plain dog driving a car, he was insured :) ) Now, you see commercials with dogs driving cars and talking on the cell phone LOL of course, all digital.
