This is just a conversation starter. I really am perplexed about this. On the one hand I am a gun owner and hunter and a sport shooter. I love my guns and honestly I dont want anyone taking them from me. And yet on the other hand when I hear news like the shooting at LAX and how the guy just walked in and started killing people I wonder what kind of gun laws can we pass that are meaningful and not symbolic? I am totally clueless as to how our nation should solve this growing issue. And dont kid yourselves this problem is BIG!! According the Washington Post we the United States are the single most violent nation in the world. A dubious honor to say the least. Not only that but we are far and away the most violent country in the world. So to say that we DONT have a gun problem is at this point I see as sticking your head in the sand. But what I want to know is, is there anything that can be done to solve this conundrum? Anybody want to weigh in on this?
