This is just a polite notice from Sarah and Darren Trestrail, Harbour House, Roskilly Lane. We have had to put a chain across our driveway to stop further damage to our property from thoughtless car drivers and horse riders! We tolerated the damage for over eight years; damage includes: gravel being spun from tyres onto our windows, horses rearing onto our truck and women in cars using our drive as gossip stations, not to mention the late night disturbances which set the dogs off awaking the family. When discussing the damaged we had incurred with our then Neighborhood Watch Officer, Ben Davis on his advice we put the chain up. This morning we found a lady undoing our chain to maneuver a large camper van (badly!!), so now the chain is padlocked. We are sorry that it has come to this and understand that there is a lot of gossip surrounding this, but a few inconsiderate people have made this our only option.
