This is just getting more ridiculous by the day...not nurses based on medical need, not nurses based on cost, just 1000 more than however many the SNP offer. Labour are actually attempting to bid for your vote like a sick game of Play Your Cards Right! Jim Murphy has announced Scottish Labours first election pledge - 1000 extra nurses for Scotland. Speaking in Edinburgh today, the Scottish Labour leader pledged that funding from the UK wide Mansion Tax will be used for an additional 1,000 nurses. This pledge means a UK Labour Government will deliver funding for more nurses over and above anything the SNP propose.
