This is just great. I went through the whole lice debacle when some little asshole deliberately rubbed his head on Mias and said Now you have lice. She thought he was kidding until a few days later when she was sent home for lice. NOTE: the whole being sent home with the lice note was done very sensitively. Mia managed to infect the whole house, except for me for some reason. My 80+ year old Uncle even had to do the lice treatment gig and Zoe who had hair past her butt got the brunt of it. Every hour I spent combing and picking lice out of her hair I also spent contemplating what I was going to do with that little asshole and his mother. After 4 hours of this, and after finding out his mother knew he had lice and sent him to school anyway, I was in homicide mode! BTW, this was the same mom who didnt vaccinate her kid and sent him in with chicken pox on Grandparent Day because its only a virus. Old people and chicken pox great combo. Me? I dont give a crap if some kids psyche is traumatized because they have to stay home because of lice.
