This is just terrible. As the humans of 3 Pet Rats, we know exactly how sensitive, caring & loving these little guys are. They groom together. They help one another, and share their food, water & toys without incident. They DO have feelings & emotions to the same extent as cats & dogs, possibly more. And really, you can say they & humans are very similar, but geeze. Theyre rats! They see, hear, smell, leap, run, and so on, so much better than any human. An idea; use the inmates on Death Row. If they are 100%, w/o a doubt guilty, theyre probably gonna die in prison anyway. Why should they get shelter, 3 hots & a cot all for free, while we have Veterans with mental & physical wounds due to defending our lives living in boxes on the streets?! Forget that noise! You wanna know if the latest from big pharm has any nasty side effects? Dont use an animal! Use rapists & murderers instead. And if youre thinking about getting your kid a small, cageable pet; get a rat. Or even 2. They love interaction, & watching them play together is straight up hilarious.
