This is just too sad for words!! I dont know the whole story, but if its even remotely true, it would seem the breed of the dog was used to determine he was dangerous. I know first hand from a good friend who has bred Pit-bulls that you cant assume that Pit-bulls are mean and dangerous from their breed. They can be and are just as sweet and friendly as any other breed of dog. Hopefully there is more to this story that would support such a drastic action on the part of the Officer. Very sad for the little girl who lost her pet...her friend.
