This is killing me... How do I answer this question... If you knew he was so bad...WHY DIDNT YOU LEAVE HIM? I have NO answer to this question and people are asking me it all the time these days??? All I can do is shrug my shoulders with a puzzled look on my face. Im not a stupid woman! I had bought my own condo...acquired a real estate license in 2 states....worked 3 jobs at one time...and numerous other accomplishments. He moved me to another state and got me to quit all my jobs...all the while being extremely verbally and emotionally abusive. It took me 12 years to finally draw a line in the sand and start setting boundarys. As soon as I started to do that..Im sure he knew the jig was up and walked out on me in Jan...also cleaning out the bank account so that I couldnt support myself or hire proper legal council for my divorce case!
