This is kinda long; please bear with me. Really want to just say a big THANK YOU to my wonderful, on-time God. The day or two leading up to payday (tomorrow, thankfully) Chris and I were a little shorter on funds than we wouldve liked. We had just enough to pay the car insurance on Tuesday, but werent sure what we would do for meals until Friday. Thankfully, we found some pasta that wed forgotten we stocked up on a while back but not much else. We split a bag of popcorn for dinner last night and went to bed feeling not-so-great. (I realize this is nothing in comparison to the utter starvation thats worldwide, so Im not complaining.) I just wanted to praise Him for coming through in a big way for me today. While at lunch, eating a questionable Slim Jim that Chris got for free at work (seeing as it was expired), I was talking to one of my besties, Lori. It seemed we were in a similar situation at the moment and as she fished around in her purse for some loose change, that I might be able to buy something from the vending machine that wont get me sick, two of our coworkers walk up from finishing their lunch and offer us two of their uneaten tacos a piece. I just about started crying then and there. I shouted my thanks to Jesus and I wont soon forget how good He is! Never have I seen the righteous forsaken, nor their seed begging bread.
