It started out in 1828 at 535 Main St. then by 1853 it was at 63 4th Ave.----then by 1861 it was at 209 4th Ave.---then in 1865 it was listed at east side of 4th between Main and Market Sts.---then from 1866 to 1876 it was at 4th near Main St.----then from 1877 to 1881 it was at 159 4th near Green St. in the Courier-Journal Building---from 1883 to 1896 it was at 515 4th St.-----from 1897 to 1908 it was at 511 4th St.---from 1909 to 1912 it was at 411 4th St. ,but it did not move to a different location, that is the year that Louisville did a address re-alignment ----from 1914 to at least 1927 it was at 512 S. 4th St. in the Seelbach Hotel Building, then from 1946 to at least 1957 it was at 570 S. 4th St...............Also in this post is the Wm. Kendrick Jeweler that started out in 1832 in a partnership with James Innes Lemon and they were in business together until 1841. So it looks like Kendrick Jeweler is one of the oldest still in business in Louisville also, and the rest of the Wm. Kendrick Jeweler history is in the comment section..
