This is mainly directed at my friends that have served in the Military, military spouses and those that have spent many years around vets. I am conducting an informal survey. Recently I have lent an ear, been a friend, and when a friend felt he was at wits end and felt he had no one to turn to he asked me if he could hang out here which just like all vets I told him my door is always open and you are welcomed any time. Any time day or night contact me, just give me at least 12 hours to respond. Since then I have been accused of thinking I have a pseudo phych degree, I am an idiot, stupid, an enabler, dumbass, I have issues (That is true), and a few other things. The bad part is I have mad respect for the person that called me all these names because he has helped me and who knows how many other vets. I was accused of doing what I dd for a brother for selfish reasons. I may be right, he may be right, I still cant see what I had to gain from it. If for some reason you hit a hard time and for whatever reason you reached to me please tell me in a PM what I gained from it. If I am selfish I want to learn and correct that character flaw. But anyway, you all know how passionate I am about the 22/23 and want to see it become 0/0. There are a couple of questions, first do you think I am stupid, Idiot, or whatever (I could care less about the answer, that is just to satisfy my curiosity), next is my motive, Do you think I do/did it for selfish reasons (This is the one I care the most about).. Those that know me, know that your response wont change my opinion of you.
