This is me in our Stanton car in 1981. We had this wing mounted higher off the cage to get more air under the wing and it could still effect my vision depending on the banking of the track. It was also very difficult at that time to see through as many as 24 tear offs on the heavy tracks like Devils Bowl and West Memphis and then it was really bad if you ran out of tear offs and started having to take your fingers and scrape an area you could try to see out of and many of the tracks had very poor lighting
