This is my 68 Fastback Mustang Drag car. I have always loved the 68 1/2 Cobra Jet Mustangs. A few years ago I tasked my wife with making my car look like one. I gave her a small picture and this is what she drew up. It is actually a 302 car c4, 3000 stall, 31spline 9 with 4.71 gears. I run Nostalgia drags with it at U.S. 60 in Hardinsburg, Ky. I havent had a lot of time to race it this year but the time that I did I went undefeated in two different classes for the day. I built this car to run 8.0 in the 1/8 mile. The fastest that I have had it is 8.08 at 85 mph.
