This is my American made Big Baby Taylor acoustic guitar from 2006, purchased at $456+ tax at Sam Ash in Ontario and Id like to pass it onto someone who will show it way more love than I can. Serial # 20061201421. Model # 307. The top soundboard is made out of sitka spruce while the back is a sapele laminate finish (an African mahogany), and the fretboard is made from ebony with pearloid dots. Also, the soundhole on the guitar is rimmed with a rosette design that is laser cut. This is a lightweight guitar and easy to handle. The neck is perfect for small hands which is why I was able to pick up playing fairly quickly and pressing down on the strings is not difficult which also makes it a great guitar for beginners. :) Other than a few nicks and kinks around the body (which are hardly noticeable), shes in great condition; no water/moisture damage, and no warpage on the neck or body (front & back). I always put it right back in the guitar bag as soon as I finish playing it. The sound this baby can produce is amazing and not what youd expect from a smaller-sized guitar: bright, rich, clean tones and not noisy at all. I have dabbled with a few Martins in the $800+ range and I feel like this is right up to par with those quality guitars. I am asking for $375 cash and will even include the original Taylor gig bag, an electronic tuner, an A-440 tuner, a guitar book, and brand new Elixir acoustic guitar strings (Polyweb 80/20 bronze, light/ .012-.053) that were recommended to me by the seller. Alas, I will be sad to part ways with her, but shes been sitting in my room collecting dust and deserves way more loving than Kumbaya and other corny camp fire renditions. She will definitely be your lifelong musical companion if you devote the time and effort in playing her!
