This is my Brazilian Twin Sister, friend and fellow yogini/yoga teacher, Deb. We met in the early 90s and have been close ever since. Through thick-&-thin and ups-&-downs, whether distant/local or busy/open, via letters, phone calls and togetherness, weve maintained a rich and real relationship that I cherish. Today we spent an entire afternoon together - catching up on life, listening, learning, encouraging each other, exploring the Chakras, referencing the Bhagavad Gita, sipping tea and savoring chocolate. Shes one of the first DC friends with whom Ive shared quality time since returning from Nashville. Ive been so grateful for those warm welcomes and chance run-ins! Debs not on Facebook...I just wanted to share the spirit of this important Face-Time friendship with yall. May all humans enjoy the richness of authentic relationships, tried-&-true. I certainly am grateful for them; and, I look forward to more in-person connections with my DC and mid-Atlantic friends soon.
