This is my bathroom at Hillside Place Apartments in Knoxville. Ive had to deal with this the whole year ive lived here. The manager did nothing to fix it, the maintenance man patches the ceiling, shop vacs the pee water out of my carpet and sets up a fan to dry it. This has happened SEVERAL times and when my lease was up and I tried to move the manager gave a horrible report to the place I was trying to move to saying I ruined the carpet so my application was denied. Hillside is going under and the manager is trying everything she can do to keep people here which is why I feel she gave that report on me. I had my carpet professionally cleaned 5 times due to the pee water coming from upstairs and its stained again because of this last down pour. The kids and I walk through it and it tracks up the carpet. Can someone please offer me some advice as to what I should do because I have to have a safe place to live for my kids. Also, there are drug dealers living here at Hillside and several of us tenants have complained to the management and polic about the addicts coming and going all hours of the night and day but NOTHING has ever been done about it. The drug dealers get in fights in the parking lot, shoot at each other... all while little children are outside playing. The manager turns a blind eye as if nothing is wrong. If something tears up inside our apartments, its hardly ever fixed correctly. My neighbors refrigerator has tape holding a part in place. I have a knife stuck down in my bathroom sink so that the drain will remain open and drain... when I turn on my thermostat, sparks shoot out the sides. Everyone here has roaches and spiders. This place needs the health department to come in and inspect because its not safe for people to be living here.
