This is my comedic idol who LITERALLY GOT ME THROUGH BREAST CANCER AND SALIVARY GLAND CANCER! Laughter, as it turns out, IS the best medicine. However, like so many of us who battle chronic depression, he tragically couldnt laugh himself well. It is a face and act we use to hide our inner pain. I feel worse at losing Robin than I would if I lost a family member. This may sound hyperbolic, but it isnt. The best chapter in my book involves his autographing my breast prosthetic in Lake Tahoe. Somehow, that hilarious event doesnt seem so funny to me, now. God Bless you, Robin Williams. You will always be my frame of reference on the quickest wit on the planet! Those of us who adored your unparalleled sense of humor and timing will never forget you....never.
