This is my commandment: That you love one another as I have loved you. No one has greater love than this, to give someone their life for his friends. Ye shall be my friends if you do what I command you. I do not call servants, because a servant does not know what makes their Lord; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my father I have made known. You have chosen you to me not me, but I have chosen you, and you named, so that vades and deis fruit, and your fruit remain; so that whatsoever ye shall ask the father in my name he will grant it. This you have: That you love one another. If the world hates you, know that, first than you, I hated me.
