This is my contribution to the dreich challenge. The picture was taken two weeks ago while at Pitlochry with the Meetup group for the Annual Convention. Some intrepid groupies got up early on the Sunday morning hoping to catch the sunrise. In freezing temperatures we made our way to The Cuilc, a small loch with the potential of providing the foreground and possible reflections of Craigower and Ben Vrackie bathed in dawn colours. The mist started to clear then crept in again with all hope of a sunrise gone. Looking away from the loch I took this picture as it seemed to capture the eerie dreichness of the morning. On a fine day the benches would provide a fine view! Canon EOS 550D, f.11, 0.3s, ISO 100, 80mm (15-85), tripod. Minimal adjustments with DPP.
