This is my first morning back from China. I was a keynote speaker at a conference called Enterprise and Eternity in the city of Shenzhen which has around 15 million people and is exploding in growth and wealth. Men and women (probably equally balanced) came from all over China and were ignited and excited about their call to be 7 Mountain Josephs. In unprecedented fashion this conference was done fully out in the open with government authorities sanctioning and attending the meetings. There was an opening 5 star banquet and a closing 5 star banquet done in very large and very nice venues. At the closing banquet Walter Wang, CEO of JM Eagle gave his testimony- and of the several hundred in attendance who were not believers about 200 came up and gave their lives to the Lord. This all done openly and stylishly and with heavy media attendance. It was so exciting for me to see first hand what God is doing and going to do in that great nation. Chinas primary mountain (every nation has one) is the mountain of media, and accordingly, since this was my first visit, I was challenged in this way. I was not able to access communications on any of my electronic gadgets (yes they are Apple) until the event was over- this despite all the work of my crack assistant Jeremy. Additionally this battle was evidenced in other ways, but our awareness of it made it fine. (If you do go into China it is good to be aware that the spiritual challenge will be over communications). Additionally, I was able to preach two services at a local church and see 75 or so come to the Lord at the end of the meeting. Much more to tell but for now that is my report.
