This is my first time in Kefalonia and I am totally smitten with the Island and its wonderful people. The only thing that has totally puzzled me is the attitude to live music. I have a fairly simplistic view and that is that ultimately, most of the Islands inhabitants livelihoods depend on it. If the music stops, your visitors to the island drop and that doesnt just affect the hotel owners and their workers, it affects everyone......the taxi driver, the road cleaner, the jeweller, the farmer.......EVERYONE!! If you work harmoniously together to embrace entertainment and promote tourism you will bring money and affluence to this totally beautiful island.
