This is my latest Lowell song and it is the 5th song in the Born And Raised In Lowell collection of songs. The first four songs centered around neighborhoods and growing up in the 50’s, 60’s ad 70’s, so I thought that as a collection of songs about Lowell, it would be kind of cool to touch upon some of Lowell’s rich history as the birth place of the American Industrial Revolution. This song is subject to a few edits and I also hope to add 2 or 3 more verses which will focus on the contributions of Lowell’s prominent ethnic communities of the 19th Century to the History of Lowell. Just a reminder, I’m not a musician nor a singer, I’m just an artist that uses words and a toy guitar to paint a picture.
