This is my little boy that was born at 29+6 weeks unfortunately we had to be transferred to Newport to have him and the stress of being away from home and near family and friends that can support was awful, when William was in Withybush Scbu the staff were amazing and a lot of the pressure of having a sick premature baby was eased due to being closer to home and the amazing support from the staff we were able to leave our little boy knowing that he was well looked after and without them noticing straight away that he was coming down ill again we might not have been so lucky to have him here today, these services are needed and I think its disgusting that it is all being taken away. With William being a sick hospital our first port of call is ward 9 for them to know if they can give him the care required or to send us up the line but Carmarthen is too far to travel with a sick baby
