This is my newest update: first I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, support and prayers!!!! Thank you so much!!!!! Ok doctors came today to discuss possibly having to do Gabes 1 st heart surgery early;( over the next couple days it will be hard for Gabe bc they will be testing his breathing by trying to titrate him off his cpap causing pressure to act as a stint to keep his airways open. One side of his airway is critically compressed bc of the swelling in his heart. Next test will be going from feeding tube to by mouth feedings. If all these things can happen with out negative results he may get to come home for a couple of months then have surgery otherwise in the next week or so he will be transported to Cardinal Glennon for surgery and recovery. Wow more waiting and limbo and so torn between my son at home and the one here at the hospital!!! Right now justin and I are doing our best to tag team them:) Im sorry I cant directly answer all the texts Bt between pumping every 2-3 hours and talking to doctors and holding my new baby... I have been more than busy! Learning how to change diapers read screens reattach wires and tubes for changing and hourly temperatures:)
