This is my review of the Gotham Series premiere. It was good/alright. Granted it was slow in some places, but it was really good. We started out with Selina Kyle watching Bruces parents get shot. Then we get young Bruces guttural scream. Then we get the Gotham police station it is nothing but mayhem, with criminals in their cells (or in custody) and Jim Gordon comes and give this guy some medicine in order to keep him from killing this girl. He doesnt seem to like it which motivates to go back to killing the girl. Before that can James Gordon knocks the guy out. His new fellow cop, Harvey Bullock says he should have gotten a bullet in the head. Then their bosses sends them out to go the scene of the murder of Bruces parents. Jim has a little talk with Bruce and then he and Harvey go out to try and look for the murderer of the Waynes. Harvey is doubtful they will find him, Jim isnt. They think they find him when they go over to Ivy Peppers home, shoot her dad and see pearl necklace in the drawer, only to find out it may have been planted their by a woman named Fish Mooney. This leads to Gordon and evenutally Bullock being captured and almost butchered till Falcone bails them out. Afterwards Gordon goes to the Wayne mansion to apologize to Bruce about not finding the real culprit. Bruce tells him not to apologize. Beforehand, Harvey has Gordon shoot Oswald Cobblepot (a man working for Fish Mooney), he decides to have Cobblepot fall in the water while he fakes shooting him. He eventually gets to shore and the moment he does he murders a fisherman fishing there and takes his food. Showing us the beginning of his descent into darkness. All in all we see the mob rules Gotham, the police are corrupt and things are crappy in general. Good series premiere, but I think it could have been better. However, since it is a premiere, Im sure this show will find its groove and get better soon. I will have to give this episode either an 8.2 or 8.3 out of 10. I cant wait for next weeks episode, Selina Kyle!!!!
