This is my snowshoe mr GOOSE. He was born on the streets and lived as a feral cat until I trapped him during a TNR project that my organization was doing in the ghettos of Baltimore. Yes this amazing cat was actually bred in the wild... so to speak. Im certain that it must have been someones chocolate point that mated with a domestic shorthair. As I dont really see someone buying or adopting this cat and abandoning him as a baby. The neighbor said he had been living on the streets since he was a tiny kitten. When I trapped him he was emaciated. his teeth were horrible already and his ears were full of mites. I have 4 other cats that are all different sorts of tabbies ...but this is my first snowshoe. I am truly amazed with his almost human-like personality and the way he actually speaks to me. I almost think he understands most of what Im saying. He constantly runs around by my side like a tiny sidekick. Ive really enjoyed looking at the pictures of all the other amazingly beautiful cats on this page. As an animal rescuer I try to stay open and love all the different breeds, but snowshoes and specifically mr. Goose are really stealing my heart!!!!!
