This is my story, true to life to, gusto ko lang malabas - TopicsExpress

This is my story, true to life to, gusto ko lang malabas lahat... I envy my classmates/friends who always say basta pasado, okay na!. Kasi for me, its a different case. For me, ganito mindset ko, sana may scholarship pa ko next term, kasi gusto ko pa mag-aral. I envy them because without any pressure, they get to study while I get all the pressure not just to pass but to maintain my scholarship. Its hard to maintain your scholarship if you dont have all the resources you need. I am an IT student, but guess what? I dont have my own laptop/desktop. I work on our family desktop. Its a very outdated kind of computer. I even have to work overnight on a project so as not to rush things and because of our pcs old version, it tends to lag more than the usual. It is a very slow poke and has a very low specs, because Im not the only one who studies in our family. Im not the only child. I have to think of my other siblings as well. I still dont know if I could still enroll for our third term because Im expecting a higher tuition fee due to laboratory fees. DESPITE ALL THAT, I appreciate what I have, a complete family and their support. Yes, I need the material things for my studies, but I know in Gods time, I can buy those without even looking at the price tag. To all the students of FEU and others who are reading this who belong to the rich family and waste all their money on playing dota instead of attending their classes: PLEASE HAVE MERCY ON YOUR PARENTS. THEY WORKED HARD FOR EVERY PENNY YOU SPEND. SOME STUDENTS BEG FOR THOSE JUST TO BE ABLE TO EAT. AND TO ALL THOSE COMMENTORS WHO WILL SAY KASALANAN BA NAMIN NA MAHIRAP KA?, I pity you, try to look at the other side of this post rather than ranting. You are lucky enough to have all the resources you need and doesnt need to think of their tuition fee. Maybe some of you might ask how did I get in FEU if I dont have money. Im a consistent scholar of FEU TECH. I studied in public school when I was in high school. I am trying my best to achieve my dream. To my professors, please have mercy on your students. If youre going to give them a failing mark, please try to ask first if they have problems, or try to ask first maybe its you who have a problem. Maybe youre taking away a once in a lifetime opportunity to help educate a child. Maybe if you fail a student, that would ruin his future (of course for those undeserving to fail). Thank you. I wish I was like them (FEU Manila – Tech, 2013 BSITWMA)
