This is my third time posting this recipe. Instant Jilapi recipe INGREDIENTS 1 cup flour 2 cups sugar 1 tsp baking powder 2 tbsp curd 1 cup water for the syrup METHOD In a separate pan, put the sugar and water to boil. Reduce the flame and simmer till you attain a one string consistency. Mix well the baking powder into the flour. Add the yoghurt, food color (only if you wish) and mix well. Add enough water to make a thick smooth batter. Fill the batter in a piping bag and insert a cut at the tip of the piping bag. Heat a oil in a shallow flat bottomed pan. The oil should not be too hot. Pipe the batter in circles and cross the circle. Pipe out more jilapis Allow the sizzle to die out a little and turn the jilapis when firm. Cook on a low flame till the bubbles die out. Fry to a light golden brown. Remove the jilapis to hot sugar syrup and allow the jilapis to soak the syrup until they are translucent P.S PLEASE!PLEASE!PLEASE!
