This is no April Fools joke. Today is the first day in a month that my body hasnt felt as those it is being held captive by a hostile invader. The muscus monster might possibly have been destroyed by a combination of sleep, a Z-pack of antibiotics, codine-laced cough syrup, cough drops, Musinex D, Claretin and Halls cherry cough drops (which taste nothing like cherry.) I share this recipe in the event that someone else needs it. The non-cherry cough drops seemed to be the final missile to kill the monster. I still have a bit of a cough and drainage, but I think that will be gone in a day or two. (Fingers crossed.) This is one of the worst colds Ive ever had.
