This is not only some crude attempt to win over some imaginary moral majority by appearing tough on crime, it is crass, text-book fascism in its simplest, ugliest form: The policing of information under the spurious, and slightly paranoid premise that the spread, or acquirement of knowledge and ideas is something to be feared. Chris Grayling has claimed these are the kind of changes we the public want to see: a regime that is more Spartan unless you do the right thing. And hes dead right there, in some respects. Id love to see ATOS, the DWP and the entire inner sanctum of Camerons festering cabal quietly rotting behind bars with nothing to look at apart from their navels, and a long list of names of all the disabled, and non-disabled people whos lives theyve ruined.
