This is nothing new. In 1948 Israel uprooted the entire population of 247 villages in Palestine and herded them into a tiny strip of land, hence named Gaza Strip. This is the largest, and most enduringt concentration camp in the world. Since then, Israel has continued to exterminate as many refugees as possible. In January 1949 Israel bombed the refugees food distribution centers in Khan Younis and Deir el Balah, killing hundreds of refugees. On 28 August 1953 Ariel Sharon attacked Bureij camp and killed 43 men, women and children in their beds On 2 November 1956 Israel gunned down over 500 civilians in Khan Younis. In 1967 the same was repeated. In 1971 Sharon bulldozed whole streets of refugee camps and reduced them to rubble.
