This is nuts...that we still have flights into the USA from infected areas, is a ridiculous risk. That we have charters available, and military flights available to bring medical personnel in and out is beyond dispute. If even ONE plane is infected, and symptoms dont arise for several days to a week -- how many will THEN have to be quarantined, treated, monitored, tested, and beyond the fear ... the cost and displacement to our medical infrastructure will be enormous.... and unnecessary. There is NO legitimate reason to continue flights out of Western Africa into the USA, in the midst of an Ebola outbreak of these proportions, when we can continue to fly needed supplies and medical personnel in as needed.
