This is obscene. If an employer has a problem with paying their employees the federally mandated wage, the employer should express those frustrations through the proper channels. Forcing their patrons to subsidize the operational expenses of running a business , i.e. payroll, is not an acceptable practice. Further, those who live on minimum wage have seen fewer than half of the number of cost-of-living pay increases as Congress has given themselves.
