This is old news...but the cause behind it, even older. When we have one half of America willing to stand for justice, while another half of America never demands the same justice to be equally applied...this is where the disconnect exists - we are NOT one America. We are still a society subjugated by racial inequality....and it exists...only because theres only ONE group willing to stand against inequality. The only reason this is a white/black issue - is because you dont see any white faces in this crowd. But then why would that surprise anyone? We dont see white teenage boys being shot down or murdered for frivolous things, by minority officers. I am not picking sides...I just want to see which side cares enough to make a stand. Wilson & those like him, depends on other Caucasians not to judge him. They depend on the silence & denial of the White majority. And that hurts. We dont have to be divided...but as long as it only affects one group more than others at disproportionate rates...well... I have to say the White part of me is highly disappointed. Please tell me one day youll hear our voices. Our AMERICAN voices.
