This is on my heart to post for those of us that thinks its ok to cuss, and talk any kind of way maybe these Bible Verses about using profanity can help because its the word of God, and theirs no way around it. Take time out to hear what God is saying... How can you Monday through Saturday profess to be a Christian and cuss your kids, wife or husband out like a dog and get up Sunday mornings and worship and praise God with the same mouth. Im not judging, just saying its time out for foolishness! We should do some self evaluations thats all. What are you saying to your kids? Or significant other? Are you speaking life or death?? Colossians 3:8 But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. Ephesians 4:29 Matthew 15:10-11 And he called the people to him and said to them, “Hear and understand: it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth; this defiles a person.” James 3:10 From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. Matthew 12:36-37 I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Ephesians 5:4 Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving. James 3:6-8 And the tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life, and set on fire by hell. For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and sea creature, can be tamed and has been tamed by mankind, but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.
