This is one awesome project and it just happens to have my motor in it, an Arrington Performance 528 Gen II HEMI. Lyle Larson told me it had to fit under the stock hood. It also had to have Holley Performance Products EFI. No one make a Gen II HEMI EFI manifold. No problem. I ask Christian Evans if he can Photoshop up a ProCharger carburetor bonnet directly to a stock Gen II HEMI manifold with a Billet Arrington Magnetti Mareli Throttle Body. No problem he say. I take the picture to Joe Helms and ask him if he can build this and make it work. No problem he says. Next thing I know this beast is on the engine dyno belting out 1,200 HP at about 5300 RPMs. Chris Gardner, Chris Martin, Matt Gladd and more all made this very special HEMI a spectacular build. Obviously my motor is a relative term ;-) hotrod/cars/featured/1411-mcleod-racing-1970-hemi-plymouth-barracuda/#photo-01
