This is one hot damn mess. We sat up in the sky circling for about 20 minutes. The pilot announced we couldnt land because the radar in Bermuda is broken. He said he had to land the old fashioned way, that he could see the island but had to wait because there was another plane somewhere in the area that had to land! He assured us everything was alright and that we had plenty of fuel. (Thats reassuring). We land....and we sit. The pilot then announces his dismay at whats now happening as a result of (his words) the Bermudian air traffic controllers....Another plane has to land and two have to take off. Lawdy! We finally get to the gate and voila the friendly faces are there to greet you while the chick in the security vest has her back against the wall, foot perked up against the wall behind her.....texting! And my bladder was about to pop but we know its a cardinal sin to use the loo in the arrivals hall. Gotta love my people. Welcome to Bermuda; Shawnette....Welcome home!
