This is one of my favorite stories. It was sent to me in an email in 2005 and I always keep it saved. As parents who practice handmade/homemade/self sufficient lifestyles, many of you are stay at home parents. May times it feels like a job that is under appreciated. But know that you have SUCH an important job. I wasnt able to be a stay at home mom, but I did dedicate all my spare time to my family. When I felt low, I would read this. It is focused on moms, but it definitely applies to dads, grandparents, aunts and uncles...all of you that put your families first, whether you work inside or outside the house or a combination of both. Please know...you are never invisible, even if it feels that way.
