This is one of my favorites. This was taken after the first Stripped Down concert on 11/24/13 and my dad died on 11/24/00. I had asked him to write something for a tattoo and explained why and it was because of my dad and that day marked 13 years since he had died. My dad and I had talked on 11/23 and I explained to him that I had been half listening and kind of rushed him off the phone thinking that I would talk to him tomorrow but he died of a heart attack the next day. I asked him to write if wishes were fishes and said this is my reminder that wishes arent fishes. If wishes were fishes.... and I trailed off, in tears. I wanted to say I would go back to that last day but I couldnt. He finished my sentence for me though and said youd go back to that last day and he gave me this kiss on my forehead and a hug and we both choked up. It was an emotional moment.
