This is one of the more insidious bills I have seen in a long time!! I have a hard time wrapping my head around how anyone could sell this bill as a means to protect First Amendment rights. This bill would allow the government to require anyone who writes, blogs or vlogs to be required to reveal their sources upon request, with no Constitutional protections of free speech or free press. Feinstein would like to go even further in restricting free speech than even the original bill went. The only thing this bill does is to protect politicians and the corporations that buy them, from facing any real media criticism that they cant control....
