This is one of the poems I wrote for Peter quite some time ago.... I thought Id change the ending slightly and share it with you all :) Close to my heart... Like a fairy tale we were bought together by fate, Hand in hand we walk through the gate, Into a meadow of wild flowers we quietly wait, As butterflies dance around us in figure eights. Not only my lover my best friend as well, Upon us lies a magical spell, A scent in the air of daisies we smell, Together forever until we hear the bell. When I am cold you snuggle up tight, The warmth of your body I feel all night, All snug and cosy were both just right, Sugar plum fairies take to flight. We dance together to our own special beat, Its so intense we can feel the heat, Closer we creep till our lips finally meet, The music in our hearts take over our feet. Stories and tales are often told, Little secrets we can forever hold, Our life together we will lovingly mold, Slowly our dreams begin to unfold. Ive had these feelings right from the start, Nothing can ever tear us apart, I love you even though you continually fart ;) And YES... Id be honoured to finally become... Mrs Lockhart
