This is one of the reasons that Washington has become a second tier sports town. Godawful columnists like Jason Reid waste newspaper space, internet bandwidth, and my time with senseless articles like this. Washington didnt address all of their needs in the first 12 hours of Free Agency, therefore I must bash the organization. If theyd spent $60 million on the #1 cornerback available, I have no doubt that Reid wouldve written a column bashing that move and advising the team to show more restraint and patience. Washington has knee jerk columnists, which leads to knee jerk fans, and the owner is a longtime fan, so guess what -- weve got knee jerk management too.
