This is one of two songs Ive ever written lyrics to. They just came out of me on the day I woke up different about 8 years ago. Jimmy put it to music a while back. It seems a lot of my friends of Christian faith could use this right now. Whatever you are struggling with, wrestling with, unsure about to the point of desperation - you are in a holy place where Jesus was alone in the garden of Gethsemane. If you find yourself groaning more than having adequate words, sometimes a song helps us express and define whats really going on. Doubt, uncertainty, pain are not indications of weakness and wrongness....they are indications of weakness bringing us to a position of rightness if we will submit, persevere, and walk forward in faith. The reconciliation of all humanity to God hangs on this Not my will, but your will Pick up your cross, Church. Die to yourSELF and find life.
